If you're referring to the PS Home Casino, Paradise Springs, there was a free daily poker table. The PC version is geared more towards micro-transactions and if you hit a dry spell there's really nothing to do aside from afk'ing for chips or waiting for the free bingo (which often rewards only one player). And because it was a good source for chip replenishment, players would stay in the casino longer. It kept the poker room full with players bleeding over into the pay tables.
